Barry and Laurel highly recommended the memoirs of A.B. Facey, A Fortunate Life. Matt and I got a recorded versions to listen to in the car. The story is fantastic and really gives insight to what Australian life was like through the 1900's."A Fortunate Life, is the story of an ordinary man who survived against extraordinary odds.
